Bath house?

I was thinking... mining, smithing, and, dissecting various animals for loot are dirty lines of work... what if we had a public bath house somewhere?

Considering we have an issues where people think that good RP means pissing on and raping chickens, I don't think a bath house is really a good use of time. It will only be used inappropriately in game.

Yeah that is what I was thinking... Not a bad idea in of itself but some can't be trusted not to use it for inappropriate things.

Roled takes a bucket, fills it with water at one of the town fountains, gets some soap from a lady in East Hydlaa, then goes to some secluded place to wash.  Hands, arms, face, neck usually is enough. Every once in a while he goes through a river, or swims in a lake. He tries not to put any soap scum back into the fresh water.

I know there needs to be more places to take a bath for more aquatic races in places like Oja and Gug

Hmmm... I think PS needs things like that at the moment it only has 4 main shops or facilities for RP and that is Taverns, Smithies, Temples and Arenas. (mines I didn't want to add in since I am meaning in a city) We need to add in other things such as Bathhouses, Cafe/bakeries (type things), Mills, Potteries, Carpenters, Inns, Universities, Potionneries, Coin Mints, the list goes on and on. It will make PS stand out far more than it is. I think that all around the plaza dish in Hydlaa should have shops/facilities like those.

@vaka we dont need more lag in hydlaa plaza, put more in east hydlaa, and in gug/oja, since gug only has a tavern and oja is....oja

Good point, some players can be immature... and while I do agree that the plaza would be a nice place for it, even decent machines get lag there...

Lazy me has not made it into the winch area yet, so I don't know about lag, but what if it were placed there? More of the dedicated players would be able to get into it, hopefully keeping the more immature players out. At the same time, it poses problems for those with, say 3 alts that they RP with as it means all 3 need winch access to get there, if they want them there. Then there's the players that spend all of their time mining so they can do magic training, killing stuff, or RPing (like me ). Then again, more incentive to get into the winch area.

Another option, make it an indoors bath house. Lag should be less of a problem, and it can still be near the plaza. Plus, with doors, an entrance fee might be more easily introduced if desired.

I'm just throwing some ideas out there. It seems the main problems are immature players ruining it for others, and lag, so finding an acceptable solution to both might make it work?

Also, I was thinking like a kind of bath house where there are baths, but there is also a sort of pool too.

A bath house would be abused for sure, but perhaps an expansion of/addition to Kada's is in order? Tubs in the rooms or something. Or have tubs as guildhouse furniture. Perhaps a few more accessible waterfalls...

I liked to think my characters rinsed off in the nearest lake or river, or fetched a bucket of water and some soap and scrubbed down like Roled described.
