well, I suppose any would do in that sentence, have is just more perfected than of. But I am just a teenager and don't care about stupid English sentences :)

of is a preposition. "would of" is totally incorrect, and the only reason people say it is because "have" and "of" make a V-sound, which is all you hear in the contraction of would and have in would've.

Oh sorry, next time I post a comment I will make sure I have a doctorate in, English University Teaching, and English sentencing structure of the English language. Sorry it isn't given to me in High School. This game is 12+ GTFOI.
