Haha I'd be happy to see you online and welcome you in the guild also please keep in mind this is the equivalent of the beta version, I still have some "bugs" to filter out  :) Same for the rank names, I decided to make it simple at first and as I get better idea improve them. In fact just the rank pruposes changed several times while I was working on the guild. same for it's history and don't get me started on that little phrase in red at the top.

If you want to plan a moment when you'll be able to log in so I can approach you send me a PM with your time zone and the times you'd be available so I could contact you. Being part of the underworld many rumors are heard and well it's the shadow's purpose to explore these.

Also as for the rank "shadows" and "master" these will never change since I don't plan this guild to be permanently an assassination guild. I have plans for it which will only be revealed through rp and I have already begun working on some rp for the guild. As well as the test(s) to rank up above Wannabe... but being completely ignorant of how the game mechanics work I can't really know how to make people rank up due to their stats. It's the one thing I absolutely need help on XD Even the master of the shadows has limits  :lol:

You don't need to make it too complicated Frois, but it should be solid. Ranks that have simply to do with who is the greatest and who isn't will make it so you're constantly promoting people from one to another. Ranks with well defined purposes (levels of leadership, career, etc.) will allow you to create a fun interacting structure, which is actually easier to manage (because you have less temporary ranks.)

I'd also change the name. "The Assassins" is poor... Call it something along the lines of Dakkru's Gatekeepers, Silent Hand, or whatever.

Another note: I consider "roleplayed" fights are crap when the outcome is decided simply by one fool's gut. The animated shadows start coming in, along with the blazing eyes of doom and stuff like that. Geez, it's just so messy. Also, they totally disregard the work our developers have with the mechanics and they usually involve someone sighing with deception. However, I totally agree that if in a situation you've gotten behind someone in a dark alley/room and that character is (genuinely) unaware and you've got a dagger near its neck... Then it sure counts as a kill... If the target player agrees.
Still, your members should have some skill with daggers (you can make sure they do by seeing which types of monsters they can kill with it) and some agility as well (are there items that require you to have some amount of agility?)

Geez.... how many times will I say it? I know the name sucks but I got more important things to do first, as for the ranks give me a break this is my first attempt EVER including in real life of gathering people. I am naturaly a loner because I have been bullied for years and I usualy try to push away people rather than draw them around me.

I will change the ranks I will deal with progression through the guild I will change the name and all that I know it's all in my to do list but there are more important things that come first like not losing my desire to go through with it. If I lose motivation (which is quite easy and doesn't even have to do with this at all) it will all go splat and good bye potentially awesome guild.

Also in the case of a RP assassination then the player would be contacted and a discussion would be made PRIOR to the actual rp. They would be asked if they minded being in a rp for a while and if not then we would explain to them how the rp would go. That it's an assassination and etc etc etc. An agreement would come between the people and if anyone claims they can fend off against 7 trained assassins and won't conform to logical behavior then they are bad roleplayers. I am not new to the rp concept and I have plenty experience when it comes to getting through to stubburn people. also I agree that skill is good and important as the game mechanics but as I said previously the whole mechanics is a total puzzle to me because it's so much of a mess!

There is no where that says what will raise what and what skill is neccessary for what kind of character. Because they try to make it so IC it becomes this huge mess. So before I start messing around with guild ranks and guild name and things like such I will first try to figure out the mechanics of the game so I can at least know how to level my character. After all the leader of an assassin organisation ought to be the best assassin there.

Sorry if I seem to have lost patience there, i did in fact lose it for a moment. Right now alot of things are making a huge mess for me. so very sorry for losing patience a bit I hope you can understand.

Frois, you should make a huge 72 font bright red banner on your first post saying 'I KNOW THE NAME IS BAD, IM WORKING ON IT DAMMIT!'

and dont worry about Sangwa, from what I've seen she? (dont kill me, Sangwa could be an either gender name!) hasnt played in like years or something, and is considered a 'bitter oldbie'. No offense really intended.

haha great idea phantom! I think if I'm told about it once more by someone else than someone who has already mentionned it I will do that! Might even make a whole picture to say it XD Or simply huge thing saying "This is the beta version leave me alone with the names!" well... yours sounds better so I'll stick with that. I need you in my guild lol

Heh, sucks I got into another guild dont it? But im happy there... Ya can always find me IG though, Travosh Zetch. I do some spying work as it is anyways.

I would create another character, but Trav is low level, so i dont want to put time into two guys when one of them isnt high to begin with... Dont have just some maxed everything character that everbody else seems to have. >.<

Well anyways it's fine if you want you could serve as an advisor (completely ooc work which would only mean you give me your opinion and support when I wanna send this whole project to hell) If you are interested send me your email through forum PM so I can contact you without having to go through here (I'm always on msn so sending emails is faster and easier for me)

haha okay but email works between systems and ya when we met I couldn't fight, though now I started getting some training into daggers so ya I can probably fight a bit now though I really don't understand the mechaniscs so I'm training blind so to speak. :sweatdrop:

lol he has no religion his people worship the earth and all it grants them. They thank the earth for everything, including the metal that was used to make the dagger they just used to stab someone in the back.  :devil:

Well it was because he was an outcast his fellow villagers (and persecuters) didn't want him to be a threat (they thought he was a demon or something like this, I'm already saying too much OOC lol but I do have a big mouth so it's normal although I never reveal secrets) And they were scared he'd kill everyone if he learned to fight or use magic or anything at all

oh also, I guess it's like it but they don't have a god lol. They just worship pretty much anything without a god. I dunno I just invented something up to make it sound like he was harmless.
