Animal Taming?

Does this game have such a thing?  And if so, is it like a permanent pet until it dies, or beyond that, or is it only your pal for like a minute then turns on you?

we don't have temporary animal taming, yet
however you may have familiars which you can summon for a limited amount of time per day

Do they intend to implement something like pet taming, where you can name and keep the pet?

I would enjoy that, though ... like e.g. a wild Rivnak herd where you could convince one (e.g. by giving an apple or carrot) to let you ride it in a limited area, at most one map.

But I guess it would be hard to implement.

Taming is basically becoming a friend with an animal. Its hard to implement. But I like the idea, hunters become more stronger because they can hunt with tamed animals, but also getting a Rivnak by taming would be a great idea, I guess you could almost learn how to sell them as well and use the idea of Rivnak taming to make tria, of course it will probably need to be a highly skilled person in Taming since you need to tam the Rivnak to trust you and other people to sell it on.
