North American Thanksgiving Thoughts
« on: November 25, 2010, 09:06:23 am »
Dear PlaneShifters~

 :flowers:

It's 3 minutes to midnight in my time zone, so please allow me to send to you all, newbies, midbies, oldbies, trolls, thinkers, past legends, future legends, all you artists and writers and technical computer geniuses, you helpful ones, you hurt ones, youth, aged, developers, GMs, creators, all~ Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful to be alive, and to have another shot at adding my part, to any little corner of the world I can, ~~ energy, to to try to make myself a bit deeper, more compassionate, more thoughtful, and more generous. Thank you each and all for the contributions you make, to our virtual world, and to our real world. I know it's only us USAers celebrating this particular date, but to all our international community, in whatever traditions make the most sense to you, may you have a happy, peaceful, equal and just Thanksgiving.   O--)

And may each tomorrow be better for each one of us.

Except of course, for the turkey, which I intend to slice with a Dagger of Enlightenment and slather with transfat before ripping into its growth hormonically enriched flesh!

Roled,

Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Gobble gobble.

Anyways, I don't really care about Thanksgiving because I give thanks all year round.

I believe the canadian writer of 'rock paper cynic' said it best,

Canadian Thanksgiving:

All the food, with half the meaning.

Shush you bad Thanksgiving in October people... :P My french teacher just told us yesterday that it was in October up in Canada, but after reading the history of thanksgiving in canada, it is very clear that they are just confused... There is no need to have changed the date more than 5 times. :P

Isn't it earlier to ensure we won't have to chase down turkeys in deep snow?  :D
