Error Can't Exec any of the files

I get this message The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b) Click on OK to terminate the application.

Any suggestions?

running windows Xp
amd athlon xp 1.7 ghz
geforce 4 ti4600 128mb
512 mb ram

hmm an interesting error, looking up my debuger I believe thats a sound error.

someone correct me if I am wrong.

You might try using setup and turning off the sound temporarily and seeing if that helps.

The problem is i cant run setup

You can turn sound off by adding a ; to the front of this line:
System.PlugIns.iSoundRender =crystalspace.sound.render.software

in the planeshift/psclient.cfg file.

I have the same error and I have almost the exact same comp.

AMD Athlon XP 1.9
Geforce4 4200Ti 64mb
512 Ram


I try to run any of the programs and i get
\"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application.\"

I get this when i try to run Plane Shift - OpenGL Mode, Plane Shift - Safe (slow) Mode, Plane Shift Setup, or Plane Shift Updater.

I have tryed compatibility checks,  re-installing, re-downloading.

I have all the newest driviers for all my hardware and software and my comp runs perfect. I have no clue what is making it do this.. any help is appreciated.
