Special Occasions !! xmas, easter etc

Fanomatic2000 -- sorry for posting an idea that was already thought about but you cant really expect me to go through all the 500 threads to see what has or hasnt been posted.

I think special occasions would be cool obviously scrappying christmas and things like that i geuss the gods (devs) could make up there own special occasions that would suit the planeshift world.

I also think it could be really good if say some special even happens like how Havena posted and then that gets marked as a date to be celerbrated from then onwards. So as to remember that date and respect the people that died on that day or whatever.... heaps of possibiltys

neat idea ...but his would mean that we\'d have to implement a calendar ...hint hint

Because such a calendar (good idea, btw) could be filled quite fast, I think it would be cool if there were (mostly?) local celebrations. It wouldn\'t make sense if there was a party throughout the world in memory of the liberation of -insert city name here-.

And it would be cool if you travelled a long way and then find yourself in a city celebrating some party. See what different answers you get when asking for the reason of this festivity.

heh, that really cracked me up no santa elves for me either.. I mean, it wouldn\'t make sense to have things like christmas in a game which hasn\'t got anything to do with RL religions and traditions... I think that festivals and stuff should be invented by the devs.. and reflect the PS environment...
