Octarch Housing Auction

By order of the Octarch, three houses will be put up for Auction. One house each day [ Auction dates are Jan 7th, 11th and 12th at 2100GMT.]

One house will be sold in each of the following districts, one house sold per day.

[Friday Jan 7th]
   •   Gugrontid Lower Village [@ 21:00 GMT]
     
[Tuesday January 11th ]
   •   Ojaveda [@ 21:00 GMT]

[Wednesday  January 12th ]
   •   Hydlaa Winch Terrace [@ 21:00 GMT]
   

[All houses up for auction may be found in the above districts.  You will find an Auctiion Podium at each one.]

Auction Guidelines
   •   Houses may only be sold to guilds, not individuals
   •   No guild may own more than one house in Yliakum
   •   At each auction, one person from each interested guild will be designated to bid
   •   The bidder must have sufficient funds on his/her/kra's person to meet every bid, and will be required to prove same
   •   Full payment is due immediately upon conclusion of an auction
   •   Master keys and copies will be provided to the winning bidder immediately upon conclusion of an auction

Reserve Prices per house
   •   Gugrontid Lower Village: 1 Million
   •   Hydlaa Winch Terrace: 1 Million
   •   Ojaveda: 1 Million

Additional Information
   •   There are dozens of valid reasons for guild splits and alliances, thus enforecement of any policy restricting such arrangements would be purely arbitrary and circumstancial, and would place an enormous burden on project staff with little chance of a positive outcome.
   •   Secret guilds should announce themselves at the auction as "Representing a private entity", however the guild to which the representative belongs will be the owner of record should they be the winner
   •   There is only one master key per house.  Only the master key holder may request copies, and must be a member of the guild owning the house to which the master key belongs.
   •   If a guild that owns a house is disbanded the lock will be changed and the house will be shuttered as abandoned, reclaimed by the Octarchy, and resold at a future auction

We hope, with this advance notice, you all can work out who can represent your guilds during the times indicated above.  You should plan for an individual auction to take from 60-90 minutes.

[Oh left over houses? that weren't sold in the last auctions? That's a very good idea. Might try get in-game to buy the Akkaio house for Akkaio Setha Clan, but House Cheshire could be very interested in it... I dunno.

Does Klyros Junction have their house i Amdineir yet? I heard Leraider waiting for Amdineir to arrive before getting a Guild House? I am really far behind in PS these days

Wouldn't that put predominantly RPing Guilds out of the running?

My understanding, from previous readings on the forum, was that the auctioning practise was to given up for that very reason. My question would be, then, why has it been reinstated?

Yes, my character's guild applied within the last few weeks. Just was wondering if it would be better to go grind rather than a planned Talad Ceremony.

@Nova What I believe the GMs are doing now is getting the guildhouses that weren't sold or have been 'Abandoned' sold to new owners to keep the Guild houses in use.

@Sarva But I would also like to know what happened to Knowledge Seekers application to the RP reward houses scheme. I heard someone say KS applied. Some of the questions in that application is pretty difficult to get a tick, especially when it comes to members. I know KIC has the total members but certainly not the active members.

@Mishka I didn't know if they were interested in not having the house shared and getting their own. I don't want a house for KIC in Akkaio, so I would have to round up a mil for Akkaio Setha Clan and see if anyone bids. I'm sure Naravis might help along with Egele, But also have to try get HaniX to unban me. But I'm not going to go to hard out on it, as ASC could probably apply in the near future for a GH under the RP reward scheme.

I know MoM will get a house, Perlan has shown me his 9mil. there's a few guilds that will get them, I reckon MoM, Diamond Claw, and a competition between Roots of Voc and Bounty Hunters.
One thing to my advantage is I want the Ojaveda house which will probably be ignored for the Hydlaa house, and so everyone will wait for the next day. Instead of bidding on it.

As far as I know Knowledge Seekers have never applied for a RP award house.
