At the last meet the Devs meeting Talad said that the issue of mob drop rates would be looked at.  I just tried the drop rate of eyes for one eyed rats. It took me 35 rats to get 10 eyes for a drop rate of 28.6%

1. More balanced crafting. It seems that making different items brings the same amount of experience in certain skill. This isn't very logical. Making a more complex item should advance the skill more. Also, for some reason making high quality metal stocks doesn't affect further making higher quality items from them (I'm not sure if it's intended or just was never implemented).
2. More implemented crafts in general.
3. Mental stats should affect the rate of learning skills (theory and practice).
4. Serious alchemy? May be I just didn't get to it, but i didn't see any alchemical labs for brewing potions and other experiments. (It would be nice to introduce more chemicals and minerals, except metals and coal. These can be used for alchemy. Sulphur, lime or whatever else).
5. Improved combat animations (more detailed). For example, currently using a bow, arrows are always held upwards (doesn't look nice).

Alright, here's mine:
1. small bubble with an icon of moving lips to appear on top of a character when he is typing. (lips would mean the character is typing);
2. Sangwa's Expanded Settings idea;
3. Tuathanach's #1 suggestion, as in slightly different skins to make the various races more easily recognisable;
4. The missing models for the races, even if it conflicts with my #3, we need those models;
5. Finally, even if Billboards are now ingame, some sort of game mechanics were suggested to help immersion. More info available here: http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/flyspray/index.php?do=details&task_id=4602 .

Looked at, or dealt with?  ;) The looting rate is really poor on the tougher mobs, like Dlayos, or even expert glads... I'd be shocked if the weapon drop % was anything near double digits..

I've added in my lit the expanded settings, since it's an important part of the RP immersion factor.

In no particular order:

* Maybe not easy, but more crafting skills. Pottery, glassblowing, weaving/tailoring, woodwork, etc.
* Related to that, more ways to make a respectable amount of tria than just mind-numbing mining and smithing for the whole freaking weekend.
* What Tuathanach said about skins
* What everyone said about loot rates
* Tria-sinks. Expensive but desirable things for people to spend their massive amounts of excess trias on (guild houses don't count; they generate far more trias than they take away) - Pterosaur rides are a good start.

Interesting idea... The pterosaur rides are kept relatively cheap right now to help with newer players being able to use the faster travel, I think...  What exactly did you have in mind though? By creating new tria-sinks, you're also encouraging players to raise more and more tria.. The closest thing we have currently is the mounts in winch, about 70k for the two put together, I believe.  However, it's no secret that the winch is (understandably) hard to get, yet the most expensive NPC-sold items are held within. 

Perhaps rarer weapons, something akin to guildhouses? I think this idea has potential, I'm just curious as to exactly what you had in mind  ;)

Hmmm... I think the ideal tria-sink should be endlessly cumulative: that way it works as an efficient tria-sink while showing results to the people whose tria is being sunk.

I'd propose to have players decide if one or more of their faction ranks can be showed to public and then allow faction ranks to be bought at a high price (at a church, at your local thieves' underground, etc.) These faction ranks would have the single purpose to allow some players to know this or that character is a great supporter of this or that faction. It just has RP value (i.e. doesn't make the grinders even more physically powerful), it sinks tria and it's endlessly cumulative, since players would compete amongst themselves to see who is the greatest supporter of Laanx's faith, etc. (i.e. you should be able to get as many as you'd like, since the faction's gratitude should be linear with the financial support provided.)

Well one real life tria-sink that always worked in days of old were titles. Would you like to have Sir or Lady as a prefix to your character's name? Only cost ya 1 million tria with a series of quests involved. Throwing parties to notables, bribes in the right places, donation to the temple of your choice, etc..

Having a title could come with some perks to the royal; the details of which can be left for further discussion.

So as a tria-sink would that be kind of like implementing that every player must eat, in which they need to buy food?
