i\'ve just tried out vendetta ...it\'s a 3d online space shoot\'em\'up/MMORPG (depends on how you play it) ...the graphics kick ass, and my (win*-using anti-opensource game-spoiled) brother is really impressed

oh, yea, it\'s cross-platform (linux, mac, win*)

Wow thanks for posting that, I just trid it and it great! Died once and killed one NPC enemy. I\'m gold, which are you? Any tips on how to get money in the beginning? Don\'t even have money for repairing my ship.

i\'m (siver_hook) blue, my brother\'s (Vash-san) red

if you use the default free ship, the repairs are free :] ...you can own more then one vessel

easy money?
1) whenever you destroy someone he usually leaves some cargo (pink on radar), pick that up and sell it at the stations
2) buy and sell \"trade goods\" at different stations ...you can usually buy them (cheaper) only at some stations (each station makes its own \"products\"), and you can sell them for more money at more far away stations :]

p.s. don\'t make the same mistake as my brother ...in the free ship the \"free\" parts (batery, engine, weapons...) are the same as the \"normal\"/cheapest ones that you can buy at the stations ...don\'t buy those, you don\'t need it, since you already have them

Try Grendel\'s Revenge. EXCELLENT MUD!

There were a few problems with it...but it\'s got a bit of graphics for a map which is nice. They just hired 2 Full Time GMs specifically for GR and they hired a full time person to work on the code and updates and stuff.

Definitely the best MUD I\'ve ever played.

RS will have a new 3d engine running in a few more weeks or so, anyway, i am like level 41, and i already have a clan

I must admit I was seriously addicted to RS for about six months, but then members was introduced, where you pay like ?5 a month for new features. After members was introduced, free 2 play was completely abandoned - no new skills, monsters or areas were granted to the free 2 play people. Oh, and if you\'ve heard RS fans boasting about how awesome the much delayed RS 3D is going to be, check out the graphics here. Go to RS, then Library of Varrock, then bestiary. The graphics suck hairy Enkidukai balls compared to PS.

R*N*SC*P* sucks :P Simple. YOu get TKed every 5 minutes and the whole game makes no sense. I played it once, got in some weird house, then the exit locked up. I\'ve been walking arount in that ^*#_$% house for 2 hours. No exit. It isn\'t called for nothing the-game-that-shall-not-be-named.

man, I used to play, till I got so bored out of my mind that I just quit....

the idea that monsters would be organised to weak outside the city and stronger further out is rediculous. I mean, it makes a little sence, but at second level, I had to walk a LONG ways outside the city to find anything that challenged me, and suddenly the monsters got so hard I couldn\'t beat them. I mean talk about from a to b

that game sucked hairy balls... I\'m enkidukai, I know!
