im a bit stuck Crafting quest

im new to the game im sorta enjoying it except after entering the real world from tutorial there is no clear incentive on how to play but i just started doing quests for the crafter dude and he said salmoe or what ever his name is needs a new hammer so i bought one and tried giving it to him and he said

"i think you have confused me with someone else" now im stuck

That quest is currently broken. We are waiting for the fix to be uploaded to the server which will probably happen the next time the server is rebooted. Until the fix is uploaded you can try walking around and doing quests for other NPCs since with some many of the quests now linked together the quest you do today may help you get an quest you really want, or need tomorrow.

I am also stuck with  crafting quest. If anyone is familier with the Food Association intro, Joomed (sp?) the cook in the tavern in the starting city (bear with me I am very new and don't know the names yet) has you get night mushrooms for his first quest. I did that and he then told me to go see someone else... Needless to say I forget who he told me to see and now he acts as if I never did the first quest for him! In fact it is not even in my completed quest log...

On another note, where can I go to start cooking? I can't even find a kitchen... D^:

If you forget what you are suppose to do during a quest or who you are suppose to see you can review your chat logs. For information about finding your chat logs see http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=37020.msg421251;topicseen#new.  You will have to do some quests to get the cooking books before you can do any cooking and there are a few quests you have to do before you can get the quests for the cooking books. Keep looking for quests in the hydlaa area that involve cooking.
