The Hunters Club

A different and quite exquisite association.

In ancient time, hunting was one of the most important skills. As society developed, hunting changed as well. It was no longer a necessity to survive.
Nowadays, some view hunting as a sort of sport. Others say, it's a way of life. A lot of citizens earn their living with it, while others enjoy the occasional hunting trip.

Troyyer Silvverman, along with some friends, decided that it was time to found a circle for all those hunters under the Azure Sun.

The Hunters Club is open to all citizens of Yliakum no matter what race, gender, age, religion, profession, class...
We only ask our members to have a certain devotion to hunting!

Although peaceful and nature loving, the club requires all members to have a sophisticated knowledge in the use of weapons as well as magic and a proficient understanding of the varied hunting grounds.

Welcome to the Club!

I like the idea, but is this a guild, or just an association?
Hey look kids, it's the antichrist Marsuveus!
What? Doesn't he just look huggable? Aw, c'mon, give him a hug.

Being a passionate hunter myself, I consider supporting this association, given that membership is not related to a guild structure.

You don't actually do much, do you?

What about making a monthly competition, where the hunter that gives the most of some certain kind of hunt wins? That'd be cool.

Thank you all for your ideas, thoughts and wishes.

It's still very early for the Guild and the founding letter of 'The Hunters Club', which i posted to start this thread, is only a couple days old...

Every day brings something new. This time its beer. Now we have our own brew: 'Hunters Real Stout'
It was introduced at the Bloodstone Brethren Birthday party. Hope it was tasty.

Take a look, if you wish:[IC description of the beer]

Hunters Real Stout - the pure taste of nature!

A cask-conditioned dark beer brewed only with the finest traditional ingredients like roasted malt, hops, yeast and fresh spring water.

Hunters Real Stout, as the name indicates, is a strong and stout beer made for the thirsty hunter.
It's the kind of beer a hunter dreams of, when he is out in the wilderness, sitting in front of a warm camp fire or when he returns from a long hunting trip and wants to wash away the dust from his throat.

But Ladies and Dudes beware, this beer is strong and only made for the strongest.

*wonders why magic is needed for hunting and walks away, grumbling something about that magic user aren't real hunter or fighter*

Nice idea Troyyer. I will keep an eye on this guild, since I am a huntress myself.
