I'm surprised more people haven't heard the guy in Windhelm who says 'I used to be a stormcloak soldier, but then I took a sword to the chest'

Sounds a bit more painful than an arrow don't it? Its like Bethesda knew they were going to have a joke to make fun of.

The only "arrow in knee" scene I remember was  from "Ace Ventura", IIRC.

There was a video parody of Skyrim of a guard who got shot in the knee. I also believe guards say such if you talk to them as well.
