DropBox is a very useful filesharer. It allows you to simply place items in a certain folder, and these sync with the Dropbox server, you can set different folders within the Dropbox to public etc....

DeviantArt is kind of a pain, but professional. I like Imageshack though! Recommended:

Imageshack (lots of options, good for hosting)
Twitpc (simple and easy)
Photobucket (a lot like Imageshack)

As mentioned in the linked sites in my starting post: ImageShack started to create a kind of blacklist and demand a registration to display images on specific embedding sites. Looks like they can't stand the traffic anymore.
