@ Tessra:
It was just this kind of "Shut up!" attitude even against Esanor, the mute dwarf; just being present in the tavern seemed to be too loud of him for her state of that moment. Esanor avoids un-cheerful people. They tend to miss his easy point of view.
(12:07:11) Evirea lets out an annoyed muttering and looks back at Esanor's poke. "Yes?"
(12:07:22) Esanor writes on his Magic Board...
(12:08:12) Esanor writes: "Today a Nolthrir at the tree near the billboard, green substance in neck cut, red fenki mark"
(12:09:06) Evirea reads the words and sighs heavily, nodding once in understanding. She studies Esanor curiously, and in a voice that's direct yet utterly lacking in cruelty she inquires, "Are you mute, good stonehammer?"
(12:09:24) Evirea says: "Since birth?"
Esanor nods
(12:10:06) Evirea sighs again. "Ah. Not much I can do to help with that, then. Not even with my skills." She leans down slightly to peer at the man's eyes. "Thank you for telling me this. Do you know if the body has been taken care of?"
(12:10:38) Esanor nods and scribbles
(12:11:02) Esanor adds the names "Akei, Eardstapa, Cirerey"
(12:11:28) Esanor scratches his head
(12:11:34) Esanor raises four fingers
(12:11:46) Evirea nods slowly, three times for three names. "I'll have to have a talk with each fo them, that's very valuable information." She squints at the fingers and nods. "Four including yourself?"
(12:12:19) Esanor shakes his head
(12:12:30) Esanor points at himself and raises five fingers
(12:12:45) Esanor adds "..., Mekora"
(12:13:35) Evirea squints. "Mekora," she says aloud. "Well, that's plenty I suppose." Rubbing a few fingers along her headfin, she breathes a quiet sigh. "I'm hoping to attract the killer's attention, but something tells me, if I'm accurate in my assumptions, that this won't be happening."
(12:14:09) Esanor raises a warning index finger towards Evirea
(12:14:17) Esanor waves goodbye.
(12:14:36) Evirea eyes the finger, perhaps not understanding it. She then merely returns the wave to him.

(10:50:47) Evirea nods to Esanor. "I've good news for you."
(10:51:37) Evirea returns the smile rather wearily. "The killings are staged. Bodies from the Well or somewhere else, not people who were actually murdered, are being set up to look like homicide victims."
(10:52:08) Esanor weaves his head in thoughts and shrugs demonstratively
(10:52:56) Evirea smirks faintly. "I know. It's odd, isn't it. I've got some theories on reasons why but it'll take a bit to verify. At least, we know now, presumably, no one is in danger."
(10:53:42) Evirea returns the saluting gesture.
<><><><><><>
(23:26:20) Evirea looks towards Esanor, giving him a wane, tired smile. "Hello again."
(23:26:49) Evirea lets out a sigh. "I was just getting comfortable," she murmurs, hopping down from the railing.
(23:26:52) Masaro shakes his head a bit, "Judging by the fact that you are bound up in cloth I'd say you stayed out of Dakkru's realm... but how?"
(23:27:12) Evirea waves a hand at Masaro. "Just a moment."
(23:28:02) Chays says: Pentrian...that's...my sister knows him.
(23:28:57) Evirea arches a single, scaly brow. "Laanx? Well, originally it was just your typical priest or follower being a little overzealous, but it's not a threat. That's what they cry all the time round the temple. But I wonder why they switched it out with this Pentrian person?"
(23:29:34) Masaro says: It could be a just a joke... I saw the scratches earlier but I didn't pay them any mind
(23:29:51) Chays says: I don't know...he has a rather far-fetched story from what I've heard...
(23:30:04) Evirea shrugs and yet again, she winces. "It's fine, this time, stonehammer. It's not a threat. Shadow's right, it's just a joke, probably."
(23:31:01) Evirea looks at Esanor expectantly. "Don't worry about this one, yes?"
(23:31:29) Chays says: Probably just some bored kid.
(23:31:43) Esanor takes his Magic Board and scribbles
(23:32:03) Esanor writes "Was just afraid it may have relations to the corpses."
(23:32:40) Evirea reads the writing, and then smirks, shaking her head. "Nah. No threat. And I wouldn't worry about the bodies anymore. None of them was a real death. You can spread that information into general circulation for me if you like."
(23:33:56) Evirea reaches up to lightly touch at the wound on her arm, cringing. "I think I'm going to go sit by the fire...if you want more from me fluffy you can find me there. Chill won't leave me alone."
(23:34:24) Masaro grumbles a little bit at being called "fluffy"... again...

These are the only interactions I could actually find between Esanor and Evirea. Granted, Esanor tends to use quite a few /commands that don't always catch in my logs, so I might have missed something. Evirea is an abrasive character in many situations, but for the most part she doesn't run around telling people to "shut up" willynilly. Now, I don't really mind if you don't want to RP with my characters for IC reasons, heck, happens between people in reality too, but there's no need to imply that she's obnoxious all around. All characters have a certain depth to them, even the less than approachable ones; frankly those are some of my favorites. Icerra, for example, was one of my favorite characters ever created, simply because she was so electric in her wild and crazy reactions to things and her steadfast dedication to trying to please a dark goddess that everything she did was so interesting to watch.
Have I told you lately how much I LOVE the way you've been doing the scales, Mari? Cause I do. Putting just a few here and there on the picture does wonders for giving it the impression of scaling, without having to "clutter" the whole body with them. I might just have to try it myself!
Bwah hahaha. I'm glad my laziness makes you happy.

In truth drawing all the scales gets tedious, that and it drowns out the features somewhat and sort of distracts from things for me, unless you're going to shade it (which gets even MORE tedious, especially with scales.)
and its funneh to watch her flail with teh menfolk hit on her
*Evirea curses bitterly under her breath and vows to live out the rest of her days as a hermit.
