Recruiting of staff
« on: May 30, 2003, 02:01:08 pm »
I wanted to ask the development team weather or not they will except applications from prospective team members who are currently minors. I am 14, study to develop games as a living, and would love to contribute my skills to this project.

One little deadly sin won\'t hurt. 8)

Well Soyokaze firstly you need to check the web-site.

http://www.planeshift.it/helpus_recruit.html
and
http://www.planeshift.it/helpus.html

That should detail who they will consider accepting, what positions are available and the requirements for those positions.

Best of luck Soyokaze.

You\'ll need more than just \"good luck\" to get on the team being 14 years old...

A time machine perhaps? ;)

I was under the impression that age labour laws apply, so the devs do have an age restriction, perhaps you could help out via contributions or something without actually being on the team to get around it?

Deja vu anyone? Or is it just me? :)
This thread makes me remember of another one started by a confident guy...
But you seem really serious. All I can say, show something to the devs, and first try to contribute something. That way the devs can get an image of your skills, and they can decide whether they can make good of use them for the project.

BTW, what are you good at?
