I've noticed, over the past few days, during testing, that there exists a bug with the Crystal Way spell "Ray of Faith."
First of all: Hats off to the Dev Department or Settings guys, whoever came up with this spell, it's a great idea, and fits in very well with the Crystal Way, settings-wise. I can only imagine how difficult the coding must have been for the spell, so again, I'm very thankful. Add to this the coolest spell effect in the Crystal Way aresenal, and I love it.
For those of you who aren't familiar with the spell: Ray of Faith is defined, mechanics-wise, as follows:
The wizard projects from his hands a ray of positive energy which is highly effective against evil creatures. The way the spell works, essentially, is that it deals a gradient damage depending on the target's Faction with "Evil", with the damage dealt also affected by the user's CW level. I've personally dealt, and also seen others deal, damage anywhere from 80 per hit, to upwards of 400 per hit, all dependent on the target's evil faction, and your own CW level.
However, while this spell works perfectly against other players, there's an issue when confronting NPC's. I suspect that the bug lies with the NPC characters, rather than the spell itself, however, when used against any sort of NPC, there's no damage inflicted, whatsoever. I made it a goal to test this spell out against the most "evil" NPCs

I could find: Cutthroats, Onyx Daggers, the Camp Banished Lot, and Rogues, but all to no avail. I'm wondering firstly if anyone else is seeing or experiencing this issue, and secondly, if the Dev team or settings guys have anything to say about this.
What I expect that issue to be is that NPC simply haven't been assigned faction levels, however, I'm anxious to hear exactly what the issue is, or if the higher-ups have even noticed the problem. However, I suspect that if the issue lies with the NPC's faction assignment, that it will be a relatively easy fix, as IC-wise, it makes more than perfect sense that NPCs such as the ones I've tested on would have very high "evil" factions.
