[Hi, we are inviting all creative input to this RP - citizen voters, guards, vote counters, saboteurs - you name it - PM us or post here before Tuesday 29 May 1400 GMT or simply turn up :)]

Eardstapa is too preoccupied to survey Amdeneir for hidden threats; she only prays that her commissioned guards are in place. Her mind is filled with concerns from meetings with citizens: an eunuch who found no acceptance in the cities of the Dome; countless miners killed at the platinum mine; a klyros victim of a dishonest merchant; the kidnapped, the murdered; the cursed; the wrongly accused! The people need more rights, more freedoms, true justice! She hurries along, the ballot box under one arm. Tonight the Dome will vote - yea or nay to the new Bill of Rights!
Arriving at the arena, she greets Jezzi and Jawir with hugs as she tacks the rules to the ballot box:
1. One adult, one vote.
2. Those voting by proxy must send a representative with a signed letter, which will first be authenticated by an expert.
3. Your vote is secret - mark your tick (yea) OR cross (nay) clearly
[blank books will be provided]. Spoilt votes will not be counted.

Serve and protect - that's Ordo Phalanster's task in Amdeneir. But Stellan can't tell them about the ransom note, can't implicate them. In his desperate mind, he's on his own again. With last looks at his guild mates stationed strategically throughout Amdeneir, the Diaboli with the handlebar mustache ducks into a deserted dead-end street. Up his sleeve go the syringes of paralyzing curarea and the vial of concentrated ulber stomach acid. Next, for the hardest parts. And now, the cloaked figure that emerges into the main street looks for all Yliakum like an ordinary clean-shaven Ynnwn man, making his dutiful way to the theater to vote....

Grinning in the shadows of the Death Realms Lord Melkior stares at the great Dark Crystal praising the Mistress of Death. "Those revolutionary fools will soon meet the bitterness of my revenge... and hopefully your hunger will be satisfied as well my Goddess. If not *someone* will suffer...I swear, I will stop this madness."

isn't the acid enough to destroy the votes? :P

When we talk to Melkior let's just leave out the part where the vial didn't break, if it didn't - Cirerey and co. it's your call.  ;D

Stellan wrings the neck of his groffel, which will squawk when it finds Melkior in the Death Realm: Deed done by sleight of hand. Prosthetic hand, that is. Slipped vote into crate while real hidden hand poured in concentrated ulber stomach acid, which DISSOLVES PAPER. Neutralized Fogil to secure escape route. Discarded cloak, hand and syringe. Washed red mineral coloring off self. Transplanted Karnath-made hair goo from scalp to upper lip >> Goodbye cleanshaven Ynnwn, hello Stellan Aristo. NOW YOU LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE.

Yes. The question of the vial breaking or not is useful. I only found the vial too late IG. It was the last book I examined. Just bad luck. What do people think?

Lord Melkior grins reading the message: "Well done unfaithful rabble, now let's see if those rebels rubble understands this last warning...", he takes the message and store in a well hidden place inside his pouch, he takes a new flawless piece of paper and write a note to send back: "Well done but I've seen no soul trespassing, so you owe me a debt. Your family has been released but remember I KNOW WHERE TO FIND ALL OF YOU."
With a grinning and satisfied face he leave Londris library and walks to the the other chamber to praise the Dark Goddess.
  ;D

Moja is still tryin' to figure out what really happened that strange day in Amdeneir... she still has the feeling that something is missing when she tries to remember all, when she tries to put some order in what she lived that day.
But one thing is certain: she proudly voted, and she wrote 'Yes' on that piece of paper!
And to be honest, another thing is certain too: the guild trusted her (even if she's still something like a good-for-nothing apprentice) and that made her happy!

Arriving too late to vote, Karzela searches the notice boards for the results.

Billowing in the breeze and travelling the Dome in whispers:

IT'S THE VOTE AFTER-PARTY!
Everybody's invited to Kada-El's ... soon ... [Fri 8 June GMT 1400 onwards] for the grand opening of the ballot box [with 'live' results of the acid destruction] after Amdeneir's vote. Oh, and drinks are on us.

Allelia accepts the booking from those friendly neighbourhood rebels, sighing with relief at the good timing. For finally the troublesome beer kegs are gone, thanks to a helpful menki, and business can resume as usual after the last of the repairs. But someone has overlooked one unmarked keg remaining from the previous shipment ...

The party sounds good Eardstapa :) I'm not sureI'll be able to attend because of work, but we'll see.

Lord Melkior grins in the dark citadel's library darkness "Allelia will pays for hosting this rebel party..."  ;D
