Issues running pslaunch from compilation
« on: July 08, 2012, 11:49:57 pm »
So I've been trying to compile the game on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

I've followed the instructions here the best that I could:
http://planeshift.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/planeshift/trunk/docs/compiling.html

The server and client compile without any apparent errors and the server seems to run ok.

When I try launching pslaunch though, I receive the following:

WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl’
WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.font.server.freetype2’
WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.font.server.freetype2’
WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.sndsys.renderer.openal’
WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl’
WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.font.server.freetype2’
WARNING: could not load plugin ‘crystalspace.sndsys.renderer.openal’
iGraphics3D failed to Init!
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I've been able to run the provided compiled game with no issues if that's relevant.

Any input would be appreciated as I've tried searching in the forums for a solution without success.

First try to compile and launch walktest in CrystalSpace.

Also when you join #planeshift-build I suggest you to ping people by name, like me or weltall, so we see the message more easily.
