Setting up Shop in Amdeneir
« on: July 23, 2012, 07:19:43 am »
Since I have no desire to participate in serial killer plots, I will be moving to Amdeneir to play. It's a bit desolate there, so I'm creating this thread to advertise where I will be, what I will be doing there, and the same for anyone else that wants to set up a shop, provide a service, or stick a quirky character in Amdeneir. Feel free to post what you will offer to the Klyran City. Remember, it was a hard fought battle to get player content in game and this whole city was done by players. Let's not waste that effort. I personally will be either RPing in the tavern (either talking, selling or mixing in the kitchen), or out in the wilds OOCly gathering ingredients as I grind herbalism to pass the time.

However, I stick out two things. One, this would be much easier if there was a banker in Amdeneir. Two, there will be some delay in purchasing a catalog of Zandral's full wares while I actually write it and also figure out how to manage the extra weight load and storage issues without having to waste time strength training Zandral to OOC levels or running two clients at a time.

And I might add as a side note... apparently I was wrong Zalya. I can't just get in a corner and pipe down without doing something. ;D

Posted neatly on the Amdeneir City message board is advertisement for a new Apothecary in the city:

In the tavern in Amdeneir, wonderful little things are being cooked up as Zandral busily starts setting up her own business in the Klyran city. With the promise of fair prices and quality goods, Zandral hopes to finally make her way in the world. Although, an attitude adjustment might go a long way, it was never part of the sales pitch.

However, if you can stomach her manner, you may be able to find something to your liking in her wares. Medicine, potions with curious effects, or maybe scented oils... There are even rumors that she will buy ingredients from vendors with high grade herbs and that she might be persuaded to sell some of her flower inventory. However, if you need of apothecary services, she is very willing to take your tria... er, provide the needed service.

I believe there is one already. The smith in the smithy right next to the tavern. I hope I remember it correct... ;)

Too bad that I'll probably won't get to RP with you Illysia. Oele just happens to live in Hydlaa and I doubt that will change any time soon.

Dr. Lesiros Forita will certainly consider visiting this shop, at least to see if he can afford buying any required medicine... wait, already the catalogue costs?

I never even found the smithy... o.o However, Oele might find a way if it gets dangerous enough.

The catalog will have a nominal cost, but there will be one that is with Zandral that people can read but not take with them.

Don't think so. Oele is afraid of heights or more like her feet lifted from the ground. If she trusts the person who picks her up, it is fine. Otherwise not. And she is kind of scared of animals...

Alright... found the hidden blacksmith. He's to the right of the Pterosaur. Not close enough to be of much use so I will simply RP certain items without actually having them in stock. RP items are paid for in RP money so you don't have to worry about actually tria for those items.

I have set up a description book out of consideration for those that lag everywhere. Rather than the items as seen in the picture, there is a book describing what the area looks like, please leave it there. There is also now an order book for writting down orders. However, it's for the one's that Zandral has already agreed to fill. Just because you ask, it doesn't mean she will for sure agree to make it for you. Also, leave this book on the counter.

Working on the catalog now. Zandral will have a wide selection of goods.

While I've been participating in the more violent plots as of late, I fully support this gesture. Might even send a certain carpenter up there for some peace and quiet to work in once in a while. ;)

Amdeneir should definitely be fully utilized. I already have an alt that I keep up there that you should start seeing more of, since your move from Hydlaa
I regret to announce that this is the end.

I bid you all a very fond farewell
