Mouse is not working
« on: October 07, 2012, 09:24:01 pm »
The mouse icon is at a different location than where the client thinks it is. This problem occurs as soon as I update the game. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and the problem occured again after I updated. I restarted my computer. Nothing has worked. Any have this problem before?

It's an issue with the new update, the work around for me was a lower resolution.  In 1080p (1920x1080) I had the same issue but at 1366x768 it works fine.

I've done some quick tests and like Morila said lowering your screen resolution should fix the problem, the resolution that will work seems to be related to the resolution your monitor is working at. I would just keep lowing it until you find one that works.

I also found that playing in full screen mode works fine for me.

No issues with a 1680x1050 window on a 1920x1200 screen, using a GeForce 9600. So I am not much into changing anything.

For myself it required a lot of testing to figure out the correct new configuration for my computer settings. Just real quickly I have windows7 ,intel core i3, of course 64bit, graphic card is an Ati radeon HD from the 5000 series with 1gb and adobe 11.4 . But in the end what worked for me the best, was going to the resolution 1280x768 and to also change the aspect ratio from 4x3 to 5x3 while also enabling full screen. With that magical mix I managed to get an almost perfect fit with my screen and the proper sensitivity spots for the buttons and for the mouse to work properly this way as well. No matter how much I played around with the resolution along with enabling and disabling full screen. The button spots were always off from where they should be. But changing the aspect ration is what really corrected it for me and allowed me to find my new proper settings.

Let's see if CrystalSpace can be fixed, then we may have a "Re-release"... Talad seems to keep it from the website "News" area for now.
