Connection Problems

I start the game normally today and it showed the Laanx Server up, I hit connect, it waited a while and told me to check the forums for server status.  Since I saw the ping rate right next to the server, I figured it must be me or they must have the server in no-players mode or something.  I checked the forums and didn't see anything so I ran a "REPAIR" in the launcher, and it said all my files passed. 

So is this an issue with my configuration?  Maybe i need to change an IP address somewhere?  Or should I be posting in the Server status area instead?    Thanks for the replies in advance!

This problem had been going on for a while, so I took time to register here and make the post, and now when I get back to test it again, it works!  Sooooo nevermind my post.

Looking at http://planeshift.subhosting.net/index.php?page=stats it appears there was some server problem...strange though that you got a "ping number" at the login screen. In case of server downtimes you usually get a "fail" or "locked" there.

I usually get "wait" but it did the same to me- ping but unable to connect.
