My character Kull is a devout and learned Dakkruist. He can perform what I have termed and written, "Rites of Honorable Death" and announce fights as well, Bonifarzia.

Boni, what about this "Team fight" we spoke about ? Do you think we could introduce it in YACE rules after all ?

@Kull: that would be awesome. Impatient to see how you will RP this with Kull "style".

Yes, the pleasure to see Lumi again actually reminded me of the fun we had with yace, which lead to my previous post here.

At this point, I have to emphasize that Yace games are meant to be non-lethal: Nobody should ever face death here, in contrast to games like the champion's cup.

Team games: I will be happy to see how they turn out during the festival of the Hammers. Team fights can be great fun, but I am still not sure whether the accidental killing glitch has really been fixed in the meanwhile. For now, I want to keep Yace simple and fluid, so there will be 1 on 1 matches. 2 on 2 or FFA could be possible, but that will make several aspects more complicated and raise the critical number of players needed to get the games going. (E.g. if you have 6 players in a 2 on 2 setting, things get repetitive pretty soon.)

I don't have any objections here, all it takes is some creative moderation to add something beyond the technical side of the games.

It's mostly RP fight tho Boni in the Festival, with Dice system. Fun part should be in the RP.

Team fights : For the cup then ? I understand that you want to keep up a certain stability in the rules tho, the number of participants beeing critical. Maybe later on a particular event that we could prepare then, who knows  ;)

@Kull : Yes i will surely make it, with Lumi or an alt i don't know yet, but i like pvp for sure.

You may have missed something Lumi those 2 tournaments are real fight based on mecanism but ts true that we will have some RP fistfight.
Too many chiefs, not enough Indians...

Maybe Sat 21 GMT, 16th or 23th of November, will be a good time for another yace. At least, I don't see anything in the calendar for those evenings. On the other hand, it is a pity that there was no interest in fights during the festival of the Hammers. So let us see if we can get a bunch of people for some casual sparring.

I admit, I was terribly lazy about promoting Yace, but it seems I do have an excellent reason to postpone the game, for which I once considered next Sat 21GMT. It seems that there will be a big GM event to give a background story for introducing new game elements that are part of the Azure Spirit release, and I bet this one will last longer than for an hour. Good stuff! Thanks to all devs and GMs for pushing that release.
