Old gal works...old lady is a bit strange, usually only used to describe a wife (by the unformed masses), as in "my old lady is working late tonight," something like the strangely insulting "her at home" used in England, by the same masses....or, you can get creative...was this Moogie a warrior type, strong and heavily armored? Old tank would work....did she irritate you, stick in your craw? Old fishbone. Was she the prettiest thing the crystal ever did shine upon? Old dish. Was she sort of aristocratic? Old dame. Did you love her? Old lovey dovey. Were you married to her and a bit bitter about it? Old ball and chain.
