A Loot all button in the loot window, would be nice. Rather than clicking each individual item, especially when you kill a rat and you get 4 types of loot at once.

Use the /loot all command in a shortcut. Voilà, problem fixed temporarily.

If you are lucky and the engine permits, skin modification creators might add one to their variants.

As far as I remember, I just keep clicking the normal Loot button several times, there is always one item highlighted; isn't it?

I think BoNeeMods allow such actions.
