Congrats on nearly hitting 90 players online. Player count is picking up.

You can't teach a pig to sing.  It'll never work, and you'll annoy the pig.

Must be all the alts I left logged in so that I could use them as npc death realm citizens.   ::|  :detective:

Put some of those alts in Hydlaa where people can see them. :P New players start in Hydlaa not the DR ;D

All the more reason to RP in the DR :p

Seriously though, lately I'm finding the DR to be more interesting.

Well, if you go by the forums, it's only the darker RPs that are getting much attention these days.

Afterthough:
But it is harder to justify advertising slightly less dramatic RPs on the forum and most people won't bother with a write up later.

Roled's Magic Convention Event blew the roof off previous online attendance a couple of weeks ago. Maybe some have decided to hang around a little longer. The Christmas break and new computers under the tree may be a factor.

Who knows the inner workings of a gamer's mind.  ;D

Bottom line it is a good thing for PS and well deserved after the wonderful strides the Dev Team have made in the last release.

Another summand, even if small, are the returning players. They often are used to the patience they need, and may enjoy at least some of the additions made since they left. And they still know a few of the persistent players to ask for support.

Filthy casuals.

* MishkaL1138 has seen around 100 players online, and it wasn't an event.

A 0.x release typically draws the attention of new players, and I think the efforts made to improve the tutorial and quest chains help to make more people stay. A slightly higher player count makes it more interesting for older players to return, I hope.

You don't get to brag until you were there when 250 players was considered disappointing.  ;)

Yes, the Death Realm meeting was fun, even though several people multi-cliented to scratch a possible limit.
