Well I was thinking... since there are houses and guilds ? why not make lair?s because I really don?t see a way that Enkidukai (the cat ;)  can live in houses... cats sleeping on beds? Think about it...
It would be a nica addon ^_^

actually, that doesn\'t make much sense either since the prime majority of felines live in the open, or in the woods with only the canopy as cover, with a small selection of exceptions personally, I would like to be able to carve a tree into a home, however, I doubt that will be allowed just as much as I doubt we\'ll get caves

And how exactly are primates, different, in their choice of dwellings?

primates? most of them prefer to have a cover, say, gorrillas who usually find a home in a familial cave, which is used in rainy weather, most wildcats don\'t mind foul weather too much, as long as it\'s not snowing heavily, or torrential downpours, which they\'ll seek shelter for. a primate will duck for cover in even light rain

besides, from your description of them, enkidukai sound largely nomadic, which means if they have housing, it would more likely be a tent which could be rooted up and carried with them

A place to put those guild houses.

I had actually published this in a different thread but it seems more relevant here.  From the perspective of building this zone it should be pretty simple.  Just a big dark empty cavernous room.  It would seem to me that really only guilds could benefit from this.  Since they?re the only ones that can build a guild house, Castle or whatever.  Furthermore the only folks with enough resource to actually pull off the quests would probably be a guild.

From the old post.
A completely blank cavern.  This cavern has no crystal light, no plant life no animal life, just a bunch of ill tempered monsters that don?t particularly like light.  Since the development team has said they plan on allowing guilds to build structures, and buildings they can be built in the zone.  The rest of the zone properties are prepared by quests.  The quest to find the place.  The quest to clear the path to the place.  The quest to light the great crystal.  The quest to plant the place.  The quest to keep the neighboring zones at bay.  A key factor in making the place work is rapidly prototyping the quests so that building a one time quest is not a daunting task.
End of old post.

I think it would be interesting to see how this worked out.  Can the various guilds pull together to get the quests done?  After the place is set up so that you could actually build a house there would they be able to set a rudimentary government up their to do something as simple as zoning?  Would there have to be maintenance quests to keep the place alive.  Suppose some of the quests weren?t all that glamorous.  Would anybody actually have the gumption to go do it?  Or would the whole place fade back into darkness?

Of course you might want some form to the room.  Rivers Lakes and alike.  Possibly a rolling hill or three.  But the place is mostly blank.
Doing things just for the halibut.
