i've failed to write much lately. here is my latest:
All of my respectful obeisances unto you,
O Goddess of the Moon,
for under your guiding pull,
the ocean of souls upon which the Creator dreams swells and purges from her depths,
and our flotsam is left on the shore for the gulls to pick clean.
And with the combined efforts of your effulgent Lord,
you purify the waters which cleans the land
and bring nourishment to parted lips.
But all healing is cloaked in pain,
and suffering dresses in the illusion of sensory pleasure.
So, sometimes, for strength, even the lamb must pray upon the lion:
"O Kesava! Lord of the Universe! Just as the wonderful pointed nails on your beautiful lotus hands have ripped apart the stonelike body of the demon of the False Ego, destroy in me all falsehoods, purify my soul and deliver me from evil. Eliminate all emanations of suffering which in me have their origin.
O Great Teacher! You stand as a light by which my shadow is formed and my insignificance judged. By Your graces alone shall I receive whatever it is the tides may bring."
