My laptop is crashing when using /screenshot nogui

Hello. My laptop is crashing when using /screenshot nogui. Exactly in the moment I am pressing enter. Could be an Ubuntu mistake. I think I reported another bug before, which is about the character creation. When trying to change hair or beard or color...or eyes for clicking like 2-4 times...trying to decide for one, it will crash completely too.

This is just a wild guess, but do you have a screenshot folder in your Planeshift folder? The game might be crashing because it's trying to save into a folder that doesn't exist.  It should be within the Planeshift folder, but not the installation one. It should be the same Planeshift folder that contains subfolders for logs, descriptions, etc.

Check in your graphics settings if you have VBO enabled, if not enable it.

Had similar issues (crashing when making a screenshot) some time ago; turns out I forgot to check the 'VBO' box.

Did appreciate that the screenshot was made and saved before the client crashed...

So I got someone helpful in game telling me, I should do /screenshot lossless nogui. And it worked. And I am going to try your idea too Iridia. And no my folder screenshot is as normal in PlaneShift folder.
