Problem

Hello. Im a new user and itried to make a new character but i cant seem to enter the server name - its just too long, i cant fit the \".com\" part into the server name. I tried putting IP instead but it doesnt work. Any ideas?

I have an idea. Try pressing \"OK\" after entering the \"So-Called-Too-Long\" server name. Okay?

I did. no result ( idont remember the error message becuase im not at home at the moment).
I could only fit planeshift.fragnetics part of the address, \".com\" didnt fit.

go into your planeshift directory, open the planeshift.cfg (using a word program) and make the line for connection server

Planeshift.Connection.Server = planeshift.fragnetics.com

Nope, doesnt seem to help.
I put that entry in the config file (disabled the one with the IP by puting ; in front of it) bit planeshift still asks me for a server when i try to login, if i leave it blank or enter part of the address - then it still says sserver dropped for unknown reason.
I have a different question though, how did everyone else fit the whole address into that text box???

ok i managed to solve the problem by raising the resolution of the game. I can type the full address now, but still cannot connect. It says servers dropped me for unknown reason
any ideas?

it does from time to time dont worry its just server probs

So what should i do? keep trying to reconnect? or just wait an hour or two and try again?
I tried to reconnect few times, but after like 5-7 tries planeshift gives me a critical, cannot access some memory or something
