A great help would be a server.  After lots of problems I finally got connected to the game and I notice that it\'s really laggy.  I\'ve pinged the server and got min 359 ms en max 371 ms.  Which is very high since I normally have 20 - 100 ms when I play online.  A server fast and close in Europe would be nice.

the devs don\'t feel like a second server is neccessary because there aren\'t many people connected at any one time at the moment, from what I\'ve read they might put up more servers as the population increases. you see, the game is in pre alpha right now, all we\'re doing is testing what they\'ve got programmed for bugs. I don\'t know if this explains anything to you or not, just passing along some of the information I\'ve read on these boards

If you really want to see another server, tell people about the game.  Get the word out.  Ideally, there would be at least one game server per continent.  That would help the PS community to grow.

More people = more servers.

The devs have recieved a lot of mails from people wanting to hos PS as it is said on the website... so perhaps there will be new servers in the near future..

Yes, we had a lot of people offering us servers to use. The point is that choosing now to split PS on many servers would be pointless for one very simple reason: with MB we are testing the server software, and our target is to load it with as many players as possible to understand what its limits are in terms of sustainable load. Splitting the potential players across many servers will lower even more the number of concurrent players on one server (and will make the world look even more empty at this stage ;-) ), thus going against our purposes.
