mixed races

Just a thought that crossed my mind in evening. Is there any official guideline to playing mixed race or is it even allowed? More importantly what would they look like? like, cross between enkidukai and ynnwn   ?

One last thread before bed.   Settings may have changed from the last time I checked, but the Ynwnn were the only obviously mixed race people. All others would take after one parent's race or the other with exception of Kran and maybe Klyros. Kran gemmate on their own and Klyros lay eggs I believe.

So, the most limitations on playing a character of mixed parentage are described for Ynnwn, as far as I know.

I think Illysia is correct. That's what I read, there is a book about races in the library and possibly in the little healing tent by the temple is where I read about races. Kylros don't/can't cross race breed. And same with kran. I think I read that.

Ynnwn are the only true "mixed" race, being an offspring of Diaboli and Elves originally.

Kran reproduce by gemmation, which means Kran only have one biological parent, and can't have children with other races (or even other Kran, as I recall).

Klyros lay eggs. Only Klyros can make more Klyros.

All the other races can have children with each other, but the child will take completely after one parent or the other as far as race is concerned.

I've looked into this multiple times, and this is what the lore says, and I've found nothing in or out of game that says otherwise.

I have seen, at times, people changing the character description ever-so-slightly. For instance, making a Lemur with slightly pointed ears, perhaps from a Dermorian, Nolthrir, or Ynnwn parent.

My understanding is that if you cross one race with another, their spawn will be of one race or the other, not both with Ynnwn being the exception. An example of this is Adminison Stronghand ( I think I spelled that right ) . If I recall correctly, one parent was a dwarf, hence the odd last name.

As stated, you can't bump nasties with a Kran, and they would probably appreciate it if you didn't try. Just think of how nasty that is.. Imagine some slimy, liquid monster that looks nothing like you, coming after you and trying to make you do strange things with them so that you can become the parent of some disastrous mess of an organism. Don't expect science here. It's just how it is.
