Vengeance told me on the irc yesterday that CB will not run so much on the RAM and Graphic-card, but on GPU (thats what he said, although I think he meant CPU..), this will reduce lag greatly :)
Correct me if Im wrong...

Umm no GPU = graphics processing unit.  I have the same lag and I have a Radeon 9700 PRO so it is not hardware.  MY Video card could run  this game 100 times at once...
