I assume that in Planeshift you aren\'t forced to fight or do any quests and at all and maybe your just one of those people who like to sit on the beach with a friend with a sunset, relaxing and just catching some fish. You can play the game anyway to your liking right?

I\'m guessing you won\'t get to see many sunsets in an underground cave

hehe... lol. Well, seriously, since this is a non-linear game (it is, right?), you can do whatever you feel like. Just like in..... UO! Only that UO has no real story-line..

as I have said before, I hope PS evolves to be just a bit like Midgard... That game was going to be, IMO, the epitomy of non linearism...

seeing as you can\'t murder at will and presuming the area you want to fish is a giuld war free zone this should be possible although you would have to make it above ground to see the sunset and I don\'t think thats gonna be any easy achievment

I think fishing is more fun in Real Life...
That\'s why i ll mainly kill monsters and do some medieval stuff in a mmorpg (cause it s not possible in RL).
Btw Kuiper, there already was a thread on that (any player can play how he wants) but this time i am too lazy to give you the url. Maybe you could look for it in the forum and find it by your own.... Maybe

I read somewhere (possibly on the planeshift website) that you can attack other players, but if you do a guard might see or another player might report you and you could get in trouble. Police chases around the city would be super-cool, especially if there was easier access to the rooftops
Maybe if you kill another character or npc in town where people can see you could get put in jail or have your sword confiscated? Would add a bit more realism than run?scape\'s way, where you can only PK if you go really far north.

This is a very limited PK\'ing game, so allowing PK\'ing in town, outside the arena would be unbalancing an quite frankly, a pain in the a**...

I just think it would add some realism if the game didn\'t stop players from killing each other, but the deterrent of being jailed, like their conscience.

realism maybe, but it would be really frustrating if you are just returning from a raid and some stupid assassin or freak set his eyes on you and killed you... then you lost all the loot you hadn\'t saved... that would be really bad...

Well I read somewhere, I\'m pretty sure it was on the website, that when you die you go to the Realm of Death, and if you get out then you keep all your stuff. Besides, that\'s life!
