lol, I don\'t suppose that any of u have thought that the devs might need  to wipe everything later on? If so then it would make it worse to have carried stuff over, as u will then lose everything from both MB and CB. May as well wipe everything at CB.

no it\'s not, but why type the whole thing thing?  Just a simple Nilaya is right, I think we should get reward for playing would have been sufficient enough...but whatever, maybe I\'m just lazy

I see that this thread is pretty much dead now but I was curious if any headway has been made concerning the transition between MB to CB.

Judging by Venge\'s remarks, I\'m guessing we shouldnt expect anything to be transferred over to the next release in terms of items, etc.

However, like Nilaya pointed out earlier, I\'m sure there are many people who would like to keep their account names, and a form like the merchant page should provide this.  (People enter user name and pass desired to keep in the form, once CB is set up those accounts are created, blank like everyone else, but the username is reserved).

I appologize if this brings up more argument about this, but I was curious if we would be able to keep our account names/char names for the next release.

Hey, I\'d rather people ask things on old threads rather than creating new ones. It cuts down on people saying the same things over and over again, if they\'ve never read the old discussion before.

Currently the devs havn\'t decided anything. If they do, we\'ll let you know.

As far as what I know, Venge had some kind of idea for this, but as to how it works, what it looks like EDIT: and if it\'s even going to be used... That\'s beyond my knowledge.

I do know, however, that things will be wiped. I think we\'ve been told that many, many times.

the whole database will be wiped, players, items, guilds etc.
it\'s not such a bad thing the guilds will be deleted, a lot of registered guilds are inactive anyway.
