What POV will the game use?
« on: February 10, 2002, 06:12:20 am »
Will it be first person or third person? And if third, where will the viewpoint be situated?
There is a world in which I am alone.
A world which nobody can enter.
A world which nobody can know.
This is my world.

What\'s 2nd person view?
When our hearts both beat in time,
There\'s magic in your smile,
It seems there\'s nothing we can\'t do.

And within your warm embrace,
My heart will find a place,
Even from afar,
Our love forever shall be, destiny.

if you look in 2nd person perspective, you look trough another persons eyes, that means that you see through the person who looks on you. (it\'s never implemented in games, don\'t know why  :D ).

Lol, that\'d be hard to implement. So writers can write in 2nd person perspective?

its in 1st person, and im not sure if there are any other views... second person would be a bit stupid since if youd allow a plaeyr to use another players view point to there advantage.

No 3rd person perspective? Damn... X(. 3rd person view would be more useful when running and travelling.

1st person view eh?         :O if i was an unrespectable \'bad guy\' i might be tempted to stab u in the back where u cannot see me comming. makes me think how some of these cowards are goin to plan ta fight wolfman...sounds....not good. but u guys do what u want with the POV. ill deal with whatever u throw at me.

I would like a 3d person view and a first person view as for the 2nd person view that\'s useless what if the person you seeing trough walks away??

Yeah, 2nd person view is useless. :D I was hoping we would have both 1st and 3rd person views however. That way, we could switch between them. For example, when you\'re running you could use 3rd person view to make sure you\'re going in the right direction. When you\'re fighting a monster, you could change the view to first person, so you can see the monster more clearly and battle seems more realistic.
