I can\'t remember how i got it to work.. I just clicked random stuff on the downloads page until i got it. They succesfully made something easy very complicated! 6 files! why didn\'t they just put it into a single .zip file?

Because downloading 100mb is kind of painful for a someone with dial-up
Browsing the forums when I\'m bored, nothing more.

\'get right\' from http://www.download.com lets you pause/stop/start downloads, and download in segments from multiple mirrors to make downloading large files much faster...

Well that would force dial-up ppl to dld and install getright, which is harder then downloading 5 files and run the assembler, imo.

<Worf> These are the moments when my ego gets put back on the ground. I use linux for quite some time, and am soon 2 years maintainer of a linux distribution. I started to think I would be good at it. But then I tried to get planeshift running.

GetRight is an okay download manager, so if you become disconnected from the internet, it\'s less of a headache because the download resumes from where it is left off.

If you can\'t even download the GetRight installation file, then there is an even smaller file you can get which will download the GetRight exe file in segments (I think), which should make it faster.

Whew.  Can you say \"off topic\"? :o

As for the download page, it\'s a bit of a misnomer.  It takes you to the part of the site where you download banners and such.

Follow the link earlier up to go to the place where you can download the client itself.
