I\'d say fishing is A LOT PlaneShift - especially since there is an entire race that is specialized in fishing and farming underwater. Even after that there are other races that have fishing related bonuses described in their bios... Even if it wasn\'t that way though, fishing is a typical MMORPG minigame - and I know PS is supposed to be different, but this isn\'t a matter of being different, this is a matter of making par IMHO :)

Hmm... Fishing minigames? That reminds me of Oregon Trail II or III, can\'t remember which, but they had this kind of \'thing.\' However, I do have a few points to make.

One: Like SnowWolf said, there is an underwater race. Klyros can breathe underwater as well. And the bottom two levels of Yliakum (I never spell that right) is submerged in water, if I remember correctly. So, this leads to point 2...

Catching fish with your hands. If you can go underwater, then go, and catch some fish with your hands. However, as it is a city, there may be cattle-like farms underwater, except instead of cattle, there are fish. So to find fish that you can actualy \'get\' for free, this leads to point three...

Catching fish underwater, underground. This is, after all, a large cavern, so underground streamds, rivers, and perhaps oceans could be there, but the creatures are underwater as well, so they probably have night vision or no vision and a keen sense of smell. Anyway, what I\'m trying to say is...

Is that I like the idea of fishing, and am suggesting that you can catch fish with you rhands. Also, this is underground, so we\'ll have to make creatures the type who live underground and in water.
You pay the same price for doing something halfway as for doing it completely. So you might as well do it completely.

Since fish seems to be the mainstay of the inhabitants of Yliakum the question comes up as to their mercury levels. You know, eating a lot of preditory fish and all. How do I contact the Yliakum Health Dept.?
