haha :D yeah, it\'s not quite as melodious as swedish :P

I\'ve only heard one person who came from another country speak flawless danish.. and she was from russia :P

perhaps the harder the language the better they fit together with danish :P

I don\'t think pronunciation would be the biggest problem for me, sure it\'s probably hard. I can just never remember what words mean. I took spanish for a year, I still can\'t remember what most of the words I learned mean. I just don\'t think I can learn another language, you know?

first of all, I wouldn\'t even try to say it untill I\'ve heard someone say it. in front of me. That would be most peoples first mistake.

and no, I don\'t know what it is, I\'ve heard some danes speak
If I really had to guess, I\'d say it\'s that sound that\'s kind of like a double o, or a long u, but with a strained overtone...

I honestly don\'t know.

I still say the actual remembering the words would be a much worse problem

I can just see me now, asking for a donut, and telling someone I like being reamed in my ear.... or something equally as foul...

well, I still don\'t know what it is, I\'m not going to try to pronounce it, and I refuse to make another guess...

Tell me about it Xalthar!!!!!!!!!11

I\'m from South Africa, married a Dane and had to learn the language, some call it a throte disease. Took me 2 years to learn, 3 more to become fluent and another 2 to work on the accent, I\'m almost there.

But I CAN say \"R?d gr?d med fl?de\" and it doesn\'t sounds so bad anymore  8) .

Tyger me and Xalthar both live in Denmark (he is a native Viking) that\'s where the Danish comes to pop out now and then.  Malentor is Finish but they speak Swedish over there as a second language and Swedish and Danish are closely related so he throws some Swedish in once in a while.

well the closest you can come to describing the letter \"?\" is that it is pronounced \"OE\" We are not pressuring you to do anything against your own will tyger, so don\'t worry ;)

Caldazar... Bah, Bornholm is almost swedish :P us from the mainland make fun of the Bornholmers because they sound like a mixture of danish and swedish :D

hey Wolf, it\'s Tepsu who\'s from finland, not malentor, that\'s my alt. :]
