Initializing world takes too long

why won\'t the game\'s world initialize, and after waiting for it the game cuts off.  does anyone know how to solve this?

I\'ve been having the same problem. In one of the sticky threads it says to just wait (two hours or so) and you\'ll get in. After that it should load fast. ^_^

Edit: Your siggy rocks, Vivi was the only reason I continued to play Final Fanyasy IX. ^_^

thanks for the comment on my siggy.  ok the problem with the loading process is that it loads for quite a while and then it never finishes and it cuts off my comp
