I was going to make a mod that will allow you to show an FAQ answer by typing in a command, but I have stopped editing MB because CB should be out soon.

Hello everyone!

I don\'t have any question or problem yet, but I think it will be nice to moderator\'s notice that someone is reading all these FAQ topic\'s. :)

This might be my last post for a long time, I\'m trying to first read all topic\'s and then maybe I\'ll post some comments :)

I\'d like to greet Mogura, becouse I see she cares much about this game. With such community as you Mogura, everything is possible :D

Well, I gotta go read another topic ;)

best regards,
anarchista

You can\'t use avatars on these forums unless you\'re an admin, moderator, or WTB/developer. :)

The server\'s name is planeshift.fragnetics.com - I would suggest reading the various \"sticky\" threads in Newbie Help and Technical Help if you need more information (and then ask a question or two if you need to :) )

All skin files for characters are located in your PlaneShift directory, in  /art/textures/races/

So you can edit those files to change your appearance. :)

Nope, as long as you havn\'t had the game running the whole time you edited the files, they should show changes the next time you play.

If you edited the files whilst having the game running in the background, you must log out/in to see the changes.

Note that there are 4 different skin files for each race. Your character may be using any combination of them for skin, clothes, and eyes. For example, your skin may be using file 1, whereas your clothes are using file 4, and your eyes using file 2. Thus, note which files you\'re using (easy to tell; just look at the colours), and edit those files.

Hope that helps. :)
