Lol, I was thinking of adding a function to sacrifice your items for assistance of the gods. Like getting revived immediatly when you die and don\'t lose your items, or being able to summon the almighty gods... :)

Hmmm... sounds interesting, I wonder if there would be \"creature\" sacrifices too.  Like lambs and pigs and goats and such.

I would gladly sacrifice a bunch of worthless stuff, if I could only keep my good stuff (ie:A shiny brand new sword that I bought 2 minutes ago)

And where do you think this belongs, might I inquire?
Perhaps the pk and pvp forum?

No, it belongs here, he didn\'t say killing things (but I did :) )

The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

Lol, however, the sacrifices must have a point system.

example:

weak useless weapon: 10 god points
unique rare item: 1000 god points

Also, it could be skilled-based.
For example, some one with sacrificing level 1, would get 5 points for sacrificing a training sword. A \"Highpriest\", with sacrifice level 85 would get 50 points. Of course, this would take some time to calculate and balance.

He has a point though, what about sacrificing your enemies?

Because...it thirsts for blood? No, not good.. sacrificing npc\'s/monsters wont be good. Lets stick to things.

But if you could sacrifice things and get skill increases, this would ruin the balance of the game!! If you go on a nice little raid and get a lot of items, then sacrifice them for skills, and go on another raid, then you would have an infinite income of skills and your character would become extremely powerful in a matter of days!! powerleveling in such a manner can really ruin the rpg experience.....

It wont increase other skills, just the \"sacrificing-skill\". Sacrificing should give you some sort of bonus, perhaps when you have collected enough favor from the gods, you are instantly resurrected one time. Perhaps you could get an endurance-buff for 10 minutes? That sort of things.
