Unless the game will use cel-shading I\'m not sure this GUI is ok... ;)

I\'m looking forward to another story. I actually really liked \'No Amount of Praying\', it was extremely good and almost exactly the style of story I wanted people to send.

Thanks, glad you like it. One good part about the 300w limit is that I actually finished the story. I have a completely overactive imagination, which makes it very easy to start a story, but I often lose interest half way. My current tactic is to just type when I get the urge and read through all I\'ve got every once in a while to see if I want to continue one. I\'ve only recently started that, but I hope it works. :)

Woot! I was just writing in my Planeshift City\'s wishlist thread (see link below) and I got the perfect idea for a story - sorry i already submitted a rough rough version of it there - but I hope you like it Moogie (EDIT - it is very much over the limit - Edit Again - um I just finished part 1 and it is two pages... would you want just that or both parts moogie?)

(PS *pokes devs* how about looking at the planeshift cities wishlist it is shaping up really well - I (with help from some uber-secret forum buddies) would be able/happy to develop any city that yal like to the Nth degree if asked - EDIT: we are working an another project now but in the future we would be able to - although some of us might have time to start now...)

The limit has been relaxed... write as much as you want, as long as it\'s in by the 30th and no later.

P.S. Shameless advertising can go elsewhere. This is for competition submissions and queries. ;)

Ok, I had another attack of writing fever and it was a biggie. :)
It started with a single idea and kinda grew into a whole chapter. Looking at it when it was finished, I noticed that it was really a small story all by itself. So I\'ll look it over again tomorrow (it\'s 3am right now in Holland) and take off the rough edges. When I\'m satisfied, i\'ll send it on to you.

I really like some of the possibilities of this story. Hopefully it will keep me interested long enough to write a lot more chapters. I have a very cool idea for an epic battle, but it\'s still a lot of storywriting away. :)

Whoever heard of a writing contest judged by someone who \"hates to read?\"  :-)

I suggest making in a haiku contest, and here is my entry:

LOL! That\'s the only Haiku that\'s ever made sense to me. :D

Anyways, at first I wasn\'t going to judge the story-writing aspect myself. TJ offered to do that... he likes reading. I didn\'t expect it to be the most popular, to be honest, I expected far more people try their hand at the title screen option. Well, stories are going to be voted by you guys, so don\'t worry about that now.

If nobody enters the GUI *ties Seperot up and places cellotape over his mouth* then I\'ll be able to split that into the other two categories, meaning the two winners will receive 500 crystals each instead of 300! :)

That\'s enough for a nice big jug. You know you want a pair like mine... ;)

4 days to go.

Nice GUI thundar! :))

looks very good thundar, gah, i better go and do a propper gui then if im gonna stand a chance, doh!

oh seeing as im going to enter gui heres my story =)

It was a dark and stormy night... \'well actually it wasnt, it was kind of overcast and damp, but it should have been a dark and stormy night.\' thought Misaohl Sh\'Omal as he lay staring at the sky. Tonight was the night the his rogue section would strike the Emporium, It would have been an easy target had that idiot Seriefl not sent them a note, \'sigh, the truely evil like to gloat\' thought Sh\'Omal \'It had not been meant as a warning but more to scare them, plus it was like...advertising their group.\' Sh\'Omal looked to the sky as thunder broke and it started to rain, \'thats more like it\' he thought as smiled and took another tug on his pipe.
***********************************************************************************

Thunder broke^ A cart rolled toward the village of Hydlaa, and a lightning flash lit the sky.
Boralis, a red faced beared man with a temper to suit was holding a sheet of tarpaulin over his wife when the cry came.
\'Stand and deliver!\'
\'Whos there?\' shouted Boralis into the dark
\'What kind of questi....look your being robbed stand over there!\'
\'And if i refuse!?\'
\'Is it really necessary to shout stand and deliver boss?\' Shouted young Seriefl from the dark.
\'Shut Up! And you! If you refuse we\'ll kill u..and your pretty wife\'
\'I mean hes already standing, and he doesnt really deliver anything\'
\'I said shut up! You really dont get the point of these things do you?\'
\'Hey boss hes gettin away!\'
\'After him!\'

^Thunder always breaks in the begining of scenes like this, I guess the gods have some artistic vision of how the narritive should go.

*****************************************************************
?hey!?

?HEY!?

?Hey are you alright??
Boralis found himself being shuck violently, as he attempted to open his eyes.
?Hey guys hes alright too! Get them both into town!?
?wh..who are you..?? Spluttered Bolaris
?heh? smiled the stranger ?I guess you can call me Zak... just Zak.?
