Gimme the jist of things

I\'m the bigest n00b to grace your site and some things I was unable to find...

In this game when you are playing, is it in 3rd person or 1st person, or do u just clikc on doors and stuff? Or is it just a text based game?

How many people are registered and active players?

Just how big is Planeshift?

How many quests and stuff are there? Or is it just a social game?

Thats all, thanks for reading... now answer... please... :)

Welcome to Planeshift!


1. There are three view modes- First Person, Third Person and camera mode. Toggle between these by pressing the M key.

2. Doors cannot be opened and the only clickable things in the world as of yet are yourself, other players and crystals.

3. There\'s thousands of registered players. The daily average of active players is around 20-30 at a time.

4. Planeshift currently consists of one town (I would name it, but off the top of my head, I can\'t remember how it\'s spelt) and a Labyrinth located underneath Laanx Temple.

5. There is currently one complete quest which you may tackle. As this is a tech demo, a game in it\'s pre-alpha stages of development, I suppose you\'re right in calling it \"just a social game\"... for now. ;)

The town is Hydlaa ... weird name yeah.

Oh and Molecular Blue consists in one town... Planeshift will be much bigger... of course, and hopefully  :D

Yes it is. Pre-alpha is all about the basic structure of the world, all the simple foundations laid down and regular testing. Alpha stage games are generally half-complete, under heavy testing. Beta stage is where most if not all of the game has been completed and bugs are being found and ironed out.

Then there\'s Gold... which is the final release of the game. Usually followed by patches they should\'ve thought of in the Beta stage. :P

Exactly... it s in early stage, and because it s free, it takes a long time to be fully released.

Well, it often takes many months, and the devs can\'t give any date... Just because they don\'t know.

No i am not.. But you can become one if you are skilled (check the main site)

You ll surely see Boonet, Paxx, Vengeance, Talad, Acraig (they are the main devs) err.. i hope i don t forget anybody lol.
