ok I have good reasons for you all:

- ultima online survived for.....xxx years even if it was ridiculus in graphics
- people don\'t want final fantasy xxxxxx and son on online, they want a real rpg like ps is gonna be

You could say that, but really I got it from FF3. That was the first Final Fantasy game where Moogles were a proper part of the action, helping the plot and also with the inclusion of Mog as one of the playable characters. :)

I wouldn\'t worry about Half-Life 2.. it\'s a totally different game genre.. I don\'t see why it would a threat to the crowd that plays these types of games.

I play both types. Plus, in a few years, PS will have better graphics than HL2. :]

no, in a couple of years HL2 will look old to any game...since it doesn\'t evolve like PS (and crystal space) it will end up like most of the other games do, sometimes played for kicks and costing $10 or less.

I remember Venge talking about Planeshift 2d once from way back when... is the graphics engine really evolving that much?  And do you guys believe that it will be improved enough over it\'s lifespan to PASS HL2?  HL2 is pretty sweet at the moment.
