I had a good long look around inside the temple today, really for the first time, just to study it\'s architecture and murals. I think the temple is beautiful.

As I looked around, I found two different interpretations of what I assume is the same symbol:

This is a symbol found above the doors to the well, at the back of the temple. Out of the two, it looks the more primitive. It shows two serpents facing eachother, possibly in some kind of battle or rivalry. In the bottom-center of the picture is a face- I assume it is the visage of Laanx.

This one is on the ceiling above the well and is a much clearer, defined picture. It also shows the serpents either side, with the face or mask of Laanx in the center.
I wonder... what do the clashing serpents represent? The bitter rivalry between Laanx and Talad? I would assume this, as the temple was built in praise of Laanx to spite Talad in his own territory. This may all mean nothing, of course, but to me it\'s quite interesting, as I love the story of the history of Planeshift.
