You don\'t need to sign up anywhere. Download and install the game, run the Updater, then pssetup.exe and finally start the game.
Create your character using Quick Creation to avoid possible problems that can occur if you do not assign all of your creation points. Your stats and skills have no effect in the game in the current version of PlaneShift, so there\'s no point in going through the longer \'custom\' creation process.
At the last screen, after you have selected your character\'s appearance, click the Upload button. In the next screen, type planeshift.fragnetics.com into the Server field, and your desired username and password into their respective feilds, before clicking Connect.
Your first connection may take anywhere from 1 minute to 2 hours, depending on your machine. Certain systems fool PlaneShift into thinking it must reconfigure all of it\'s files and this can be a lengthy process. Don\'t worry though, as this will only happen once, and your next connection will be
much faster.
