I did all this hard work to get Plane Shift Working. When it finally did, I was overjoiced. I clickly clicked on the client and then....

\"No hardware excelleration!\"

i couldn\'t believe my stupid self.  Had forgotten that the graphics on Plane Shift needed at least 32-64 (forgot which one) mb of the video card thing to run. My computer is old and the video acceleration is only 16. Well, I\'m screwed until I find an ingenious way to get my parents to allow me to buy a video card.

Until then, good luck on the game all!

Ah, my apologies that you couldn\'t get it to work! I have yet to even download Planeshift (I have 56k) but I\'m pretty sure I\'ll run into difficulties, that\'s just what happens when I get new stuff.

Well not all hope is lost, it should work on a video card with 16mb.
Just be sure you download the latest drivers for your card. This can fix a lot of problems.

What is your video card ?

You will need OpenGL drivers, some \"old\" boards like the Voodoo only have Glide, but you can find OpenGL wrappers for them. Those wrappers usually work fine, though I\'m not sure about the size of the texture they can handle.

I don\'t think there is a D3D plug-in for PS yet, am I wrong ?

You could also try the software rendering mode, with a smaller windows...

There\'s no D3D plugin for Molecular Blue. You can change the name to direct3D in the config file, but only certain aspects of the game will use Direct3D. I\'m not too clear on this, but that\'s all I know.
