Are you running a firewall? I have no idea about these errors but it seems that you can\'t reach the server. Perhaps when you tried this the server was down... check server availability at http://planeshift.fragnetics.com and try again when it says \'online\'.

If the server is up and you\'re still getting these errors, it\'s got to be a problem with your connection/somehow you can\'t reach it. If you have a firewall, disable it. I\'m afraid this is all I can offer. =/

Oh, well there is one more thing. I think there\'s some kind of fix for the \'linkdead\' problem specifically for Windows XP. Look around in this section of the forums for a thread about that.

i\'m running a Linksys router, but i got pissed at it last week with port forwarding and just set myself as the DMZ Host... so i shouldn\'t have problems with the UDP ports. anyways, trying the UDP ports thing now, as stated in the \"linkdead\" sticky post.

it mentions errors in the \"netman.dll\" ... :/

edit:
no luck, reinstalling game

Make a backup of the netman.dll in your PS folder. Then copy the netman.dll in your windows (maybe windows\\system32\\ not sure) to your PS folder, overewriting the backed-up PS netman.dll.
The game should now work.
