We can complain! (and of course the devs could just ignore us) but wouldn\'t that go against the concept of the game to keep a conversation system which everybody dislikes?? I mean, the community is here to help tell the devs \"what the players like\"

I haven\'t seen anyone so far, who has actually \"liked\" the system. But the system isn\'t finished yet (i hope!) so I\'m still wating to see how it turns out before proclaiming my \"hatred\" of it :P

I would go one step further.  If you don?t like something it is your responsibility to complain.  However saying something just sucks is not really good enough.  The developers need details.  Precisely what is it that you don?t like.  It also really helps, if you have a better idea, to accurately describe what that idea is.  I deal in technical arena as well, radiofrequency engineering.  Being able to precisely describe a problem, concerned or bug is critical to getting it fixed.  The more accurately you can bring your point across, the more likely it will get fixed.

Not even close.

So let?s break this down.  You need to talk to an NPC.  Drilixer didn?t like the thread (NPC?s that talk using the sound system.)  You don?t want to type it in or read text.  So what would a developer be left with?  I suppose the NPC?s could have two flags and run semaphore.  Or they could possibly use sign language.

Saying ?GUIs are the shiznet ? doesn?t really explain a lot.  How exactly would you implement that.  A detailed explanation would be nice.

You may want to post it on a new thread.  It\'s reasonably off-topic.

Semaphore NPC conversation system? Heh...You made me laugh...

Now to grakifiy this thread:

Anyway, I don\'t agree that anyone deserves anything for doing anything in this game.  Its the dev\'s game, really, we\'re just playing it... If they choose to reward players for doing a quest (which, in effect, directs players to debug a particular aspect of the dev\'s code) they give the reward.  If they choose not to, completion itself is enough of a reward for me.

Complaining really is the job of the tester, as a bug report is really just a complaint filed through some offical system.

*grumbles* i never have sayed anything about \"deserving\" anything i was making suggestions

also im not so bothered with that quest qrize anymore **waves galkard around**

finaly the neverwinter speech system is good but if it was possibul to change the try try again thing it has it would be more interesting......for e.g....yoou run from one town to another to deliver a letter to a mob boss and you tell the guard what you have to do he dose not allow it so you have to run back to town and try again later

mabie thats to hard to work (im not very tecky) but it would make it interesting  :D

why should people get a reward for playing this demo? I still say that there should be a small reward for the first to complete the second quest... A reward similar to the one given when the first quest was completed..

haha I was joking (notice the :P ) -> I don\'t think anyone deserves a reward for any of this - if you want a reward become a dev and give yourself one :D
